Peter Klitou holds an M.B.A. from the Cyprus International Institute ofManagement (CIIM), a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance fromthe University of Toronto, and an Associateship from the Institute of CanadianBankers.
With over 27 years of experience in the financial services sector acrossCanada and Cyprus, Peter is a seasoned Financial ManagementProfessional. His career spans a range of managerial roles focused onbusiness banking and high-net-worth clients, with deep expertise in creditanalysis, mutual fund management, and related investment instruments.
Peter began his career at Toronto Dominion Bank in Toronto, where headvanced from retail to commercial lending and became a licensed mutualfund investment advisor. After relocating to Cyprus, he joined Laiki Bank,where he played a key role in establishing the Commercial Credit Departmentin Limassol. He later led the Commercial & Corporate Credit Division at LaikiAsset Finance. Following the merger of Laiki Bank with Bank of Cyprus, hecontinued contributing to business lending and retail operations within thenewly combined institution.
He is known for his strategic mindset, problem-solving capabilities, andability to lead teams toward shared objectives. His adaptive approach andfocus on process optimization have enabled him to navigate complexchallenges effectively.
